Great for drone buffs. There are a few of these little outcrops along the beach. The further away from the pier you are (to the right) away from the main beach, the better. There’s shi* tons of stinky seaweed and its rocky, so the general public stay away. Yay for me! \u200d️ You can trudge your way through smelly seaweed sludge to get to fresher water if you want to swim. Ive seen people do that. You will get the odd photographer or two during sunrise/sunset hours, like any other beach. If you dont want to swim, the sand is good for sunbathing and there is roadside parking during peak hours. Its an easy 5-10 min walk to the Altona pier from here.
