Unprofessional - Unreliable - Unskilled - Unqualified - Utter waste of time Quoted 60 for sensor "cleaning". Tested by taking photos of clear blue sky but not physically looking on sensor surface. Dust and dirt will build up over time hence need to be cleaned not just looked at hoping no one notices that mediocre job wouldn't be obvious. Asked for refund immediately but he said I will "clean it again", even though there was no attempt in doing so in the first place. Took it back and still argued that he can't see the spots \u200d️. After 30 minutes of doing no actual cleaning of sensor tells me he needs cleaning kit for it and now offered the refund \u200d️. Waste of time and can't be trusted. Requested to have sensor "cleaned". Claims to have cleaned it but no attempt in blowing dust and using swabs to remove dirt. Dirt clearly visible and shows in photos with white background. Gave up in the end because didn't have the right tools and skills to do the simplest of jobs.
My Panasonic camcord had just stopped working, I was devastated! I had a lot of memorable video footage of my children growing up on the hard drive and to my dismay I thought this footage would never be retrieved. I took it to a few camera outlets that had no interest in repairing or retrieving data as it wasn’t worth their while in this “throw away society”. A kind lady must have taken pity on me as I was leaving one outlet and stated that I should try Allcam. The best advice ever! Thomas was a breath of fresh air and a credit to his business. He was interested, knowledgeable, passionate, courteous and a total gentleman. In this fast paced world it’s good to know that good old fashioned service is still available and very much appreciated. The most important part of this story is that Thomas was able to extract all the video footage and place them onto a hard drive that I now can access and enjoy! Extremely happy and would recommend his expertise to anyone with camera issues.
Dropped camera off yesterday, picked up today. After 5 long years, I'm finally able to view my old videos again, after Thomas installed a replacement pinch roller (lost the original after it came off)...and to think all this time, Allcams was just 4mins drive from where I live.
