Make sure your agreed scope is clear on both sides, as all Smart Home requests can be ambiguous, due to emerging tech and limited knowledge of consumers. There were some confusion points due to my inability to articulate exactly what I wanted, however the team were very versatile after rough-in to meet my original needs and their support service has been exceptionally good. Price may be a deterrent for some people investing in Smart Home tech. In the end I am enjoying the sound systems and surveillance cameras making the cost irrelevant. Security and comfort were well worth the outlay and the Digital Residence delivered quality on quality.

wow im amazed how much of a pig these guys are. Four phone calls and the bloke hangs up when i say its really hard to get someone to call me back. No problemo. I don't know how these guys run a businuss.
Mat and the team exceeded my expectations. This was the first time I have engaged digital experts. Communication was very good and gave me a high level of comfort. I had a ton of questions related to all the automation and theatre setup I needed and the team was always happy to sit and discuss all aspects of the project. Now that I have been using the completed setup for a month I will be looking to get Mat and the guys back for additional work and make best use of the all the early foundation work completed. 100% recommend the Digital Residence Team
I engaged Digital Residence to assist me transform my old tv room into a new media room. Mat was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from the outset - giving me options and ideas for room design, fitout and equipment. Using Mat's concept plans, I was able to arrange the trade aspects of the job (eg. new framing, plastering, new door, raised step up for theatre chairs, painting) and coordinate that with the installation of the wiring and equipment by the DR team. The result is brilliant. Family is very pleased with the new media room - great picture, great sound, great experience. Would recommend Mat and the team from Digital Residence.
The team at digital residence helped me with my new build. It was a difficult job coordinating with my builder with all the pre-wiring but digital residence did a fawlessly. Every wires are neat and tidy. From home security, lighting/blinds automation to media room audiovisual, Mat and his team did a fantastic job. There were challenges but nothing cannot be overcome with Mat's patience. The team are quick with aftercare response, won't just leave you alone when the installation is done. All visitors are amazed with the quality of the work at house warming. Friends are just reluctant to leave my karaoke room to go back home. I will definately be looking to get Mat and the guys back for additional work in the future. Good work team.
The best at what they do, a far cry from the patronising ‘geeks’ that seem to dominate the AV and home automation sector. Collaborative and responsive, and more concerned about the result being what you need rather than what is the most expensive option.
Spent 3 hours with Sam on Wednesday. We left knowing exactly what we wanted and even found our entry light!! Thanks Sam!
