Good pub. Large with a good size restaurant. Large TAB. Heaps of parking. Very friendly management and staff. I likie ;)
The room was fine outdoor Ed type close to Dan Murphys and pub perfect for a quick trip booking, I had our four year old with us and no spare single bed I wanted to complain but the whole hotel was fully booked and we could handle all bunking in one bed, however I did pay for 2 adults one child. I'm an easy going customer but I'm a paying customer it's ok but please dont let this happen again on my next visit.

What a little gem in Townsville. Clean simple accomadation. Meals that are excellent. Breakfast that you can have in "the Brekky Room" or delivered to your room . .. It's a breakfast you won't go away hungry from. We had our evening meal at Graziers' restaurant in the grounds of the hotel. An excellent meal was had by all. I can heartily recommend the steak and ribs. The meat was just falling off the ribs and such a flavoursome rib sauce. Everyone enjoyed their meal as did the kids from the kids menu. Tuesday is "kids eat free" night when accompanied by a adult. (one per child). It is excellent value for money. The wait staff and kitchen staff were very friendly. Can highly recommend .

Recently had lunch at The Vale and had an excellent experience. The service was top notch and the burger was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended.
