5 stars and more!!!! My 3 children have been going for 6 years!! The staff are very loving and the children's development and happiness is number 1!!! ESPECIALLY MEL!! My daughter was scared to jump in, with his kind hearted and reassurance, she now jumps in with confidence!! Price is so reasonable, have stayed the same for me the last 4 years!! Have only gotten better through out the years!!! The kids love coming and the atmosphere is awesome
AWSA would have to be be the most amazing swimming academy my children have attended. Recently read Joanne's review and am sorry you feel the way you do. Both my boys were Mel's students until squad and he is a superb teacher. Terrific with all the kids and it is obvious he is loved by all. Maryanne teaches my youngest daughter who loves attending her lessons every week without hesitation. We have been students at this academy for more than 15 years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Reasonably priced, friendly service and always clean. Quite shocked about the comments regarding change room because contrary to popular belief it's not the Grand Hyatt, we're only giving them a quick wash and taking kids home. Keep up the amazing work Mel and Maryanne.
My kids were at Paul Sadler and were not improving. Their swimming has improved out of sight since moving to airport west swimming academy. They have far more confidence in the water at the beach and at the pool in summer. I have 3 girls and they have never felt uncomfortable at airport west nor have I. Happy to recommend the school to friends as it was to me.
Amazing swim school, I have 3 children and they all love attending there swim lessons. The teachers are all great and professional. I would have no hesitation recommending this swim academy. As for the swim carnival it’s amazing, very well organised. Just wish there was a summer carnival as well (it’s that good).
Defiently 5/5 stars and more! What an amazing school! I have had two of my children attend the school for a couple of years now. My kids have progressed so much and can not wait to attend their next class. The school does not require any upfront payments, nor are you locked in for any period of time. It is simply a pay as you go, so each time you come to your class you pay for the class which is 20.80 for the half hour and they only allow 4 kids maximum in a class which is ideal! The school's rules and expectations are clearly explained to you upon enrolling your children and have them all stated in writing in a take home brochure. The cost is very cheap, compared to other swim schools and considering it is one indoor private pool that is always extremely clean, maintained and heated! Teachers are always on time, and sometimes if they have space in their next class, they will even keep your children in with extra time with no additional costs. The owners (Mel and Maryanne) are very compassionate, accomindating, considerate and they have many years of expert experience which you can see from how well the students constantly progress. I would thoroughly recommend airport west swimming academy to any parent wishing to enrol their child into a swim school! The quality of teaching is fantastic!
It’s really the best swimming academy I’ve tried for my kids ,,, friendly staff, professional and so patient .. highly recommend them .
This has to be one of the best if not the best swim school around. My children learnt here and now my granddaughter goes here. Mel and Maryanne have a huge respect for all the students. I would never go anywhere else.
