Undeserving of 1 star reviews. Airline Academy of Australia delivered what it promised as part of the Griffith University Course, albeit at times very slowly. For the most part delays were outside of their control but created a backlog of students which i feel could have been better managed. The instructors allocated to me during the course of my training were professional and very capable at passing on their skills and experiences.

Pretty awesome experience in the B737-800 simulator last weekend. My instructor Johnathan was extremely courteous and knowledgeable in the sim and made the flight very exciting. The pre-flight briefing was excellent and the whole centre was clean, cool and well presented. Thanks AAoA!
Money grabbing thieves. Went there last year. Just go into the instructor room, you will see a sign on one of the lockers saying "remedial flight" with Dr. Evil's hand gesture. Everything is a joke, you will keep getting you money stolen with ridiculous remedial flights. Moved to Wings at the Coast. Much better.
Horrid Experience. There are so many faults with Airline Academy. The poor structor or the course, the inexperienced, young, cocky, degrading instructors & other workers, make this place a nightmare. There is nothing i have got out of this academy that was worth keeping, except a good friend. The lessons have poor structor, & students have to ask more questions in these lectures for better understanding just because they are not explained correctly. This academy makes you feel unsuccessful as a pilot, & over all as a student. I was there for almost a year, & did not get anything out of it. They bill you for everything. They make brief for lessons long so that the cost is more, almost like the instructor is saving for a new car or something. the planes are in bad shape & there was a student who experienced brake failure in the runway. The best part about this academy was the printer. However the CFI might just sell the printer to pay for a new Merc, anything is possible at AAA, & i mean ANYTHING.
STAY AWAY. Absolutely disgusting. When you first come...interested to see if you want to fly there and not a customer yet, they will take you around and only show you their only good aircraft. 1. This place only cares about money. Period. They don't care about your training. 2. If you make a silly mistake like forgetting the transponder code, you will get a 'remedial' which means you have to repeat the lesson. (More money for them). 3. A number of their aircraft have gotten engine failuires (on the ground). 4. MOST of their aircraft are old (have a look for yourself.) 5. Extremely unprofessional. (In 2013, they had instructors have affairs with students and an instructor posting the ability of a student on his facebook). I learnt this from students that flew there last year. 6. All the good staff got fired. I have no idea why. 7. They won't book your flights. You will sometimes not fly for days...perhaps because they're trying to rush the Griffith students. 8. They will get a "Trust account money" from you and refuse to pay it back until you demand it. I was a self-funded student at AAA and now training at Redcliffe finishing of my MECIR. I also learnt that students doing the Griffith course are doing it much tougher. I have friends in the Griffith program that keep my updated. I am extremely happy at Redcliffe but if you're strictly looking for a school in Archerfield, look at the other flying schools, because I'm sure they are better.
Hi it's my dream to be with you and joining your program
