It was good, everything was good but it’s missing a bit of that special to make it worth the price. We were never offered our second tea or a refill and come on guys four scones and not quite enough cream or jam... be generous. I love this venue and love high tea so sad to see it’s losing some of its charm, hope it comes back for next time we are there.

This was the most disappointing afternoon/high tea. The service was quite poor- the staff under trained and inattentive, the scones were chewy from being heated in a microwave and most of the sweets were inedible. We did enjoy the sandwiches but the pastries/pies were also really disappointing. The worst part? The tea... yes, that's right. We each received a pot of hot water with one Twinings tea bag in it... Not even loose leaf, not even two tea bags so that the tea was tea-coloured. My recommendation is to save your money - 75 each for a glass of cheap bubbles and a few sandwiches... not worth it.
What a lovely experience - High Tea at the Langham. Staff were very attentive, restaurant fit out is beautiful, food was scrumptious and of course the wine was great! I’m glad we treated ourselves.
I had a beautiful experience at the Langham Sydney yesterday for afternoon tea. However, they could have had more diverse savoury options (i.e no quiches, salmon sandwiches were on the menu) and less chocolate options. All the chocolate desserts were very rich in flavour. In saying that, the service was great and the setting is beautiful. I think for the price, other high tea venues in Sydney are better value (plus you get a view).
I highly recommend this experience. I hosted my birthday with a group of ladies (with various dietary requirements) on a Sunday afternoon. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and dedication of staff toward us was impressive. The food was so delicious and plentiful. All dietaries were accommodated without any compromise made to quality of the food. The scones were a highlight along with the lemon and ginger tea.
We have been there with my friend for a hightea today and the staff was so kind and nice. Food was amazing too. Love the tea selection. But the highlight goes to the service! Thanks!
Very disappointing! The scone is pale looking and damp at the bottom With this price range, I would expect a much more delicate & refined style of food! The wait staff was nice but was NOT very attentive. I had to wave my arms high for some time, even then they came slowly! I would expect better service as well! Overall, not worth it for the price!
My wife and I were impressed with the location, service and of course - food for our high tea experience here. Would definitely recommend.
