Great little atmospheric restaurant serving up authentic French comfort food. One of the owners seems to manage all front of house activities, and still managed to be charming and funny amongst the mad rush. Don't go here expecting a run-of-the-mill setting: the furnishings are quirky, but it just adds to the unique experience!

Very exotic mood and food. Mussels are so yummy but a little bit salty for us personally. I might be come back again in the future. Also seafood gratin is so nice very nice. Merry Christmas. A bien tot.

Just wonderful. Service, food & wine. A true gem in regional Queensland. I’ll be back. Entrees escargot and coquilles excellent, lobster and duck terrific. We will bring our friends here.

I have been to Aegean Waters before and I just keep going back. It is like stepping through a porthole to another dimension. The menu is simple but every thing is flavoursome and delicious. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxed. You could be tucked away any where in the world so we are very lucky to have this gem on the Fraser Coast. Leave room for dessert - the profiteroles are heavenly!

A tale of two halves.... The entrees, snails and seafood terrine were really enjoyable and set our expectations for the rest of the evening. Fifty minutes after our entree plates were cleared, our mains arrived.... Dry duck with mandarin sauce And A ‘carpetbag’ steak with a split bearnaise sauce, Both accompanied by sad and poorly treated vegetables. Why the ‘carpetbag’ you ask? Because chef couldn’t be bothered to fill the steak with the oysters as per the recipe, instead serving steak with two oysters....fail Overall, very disappointing for 140 meal, and as a former chef myself, felt like this chef had lost the passion for cooking and it showed in the food. It’s a shame because it’s a nice restaurant just needs a fresh chef injection. Not recommended, better places in Hervey Bay.
