Good staff, quality products. Great location and venue. A bar should have more than 10 shot glasses. Waiting for others to finish Thier shots and for the staff to wash them so people can order shots isn't professional or a good experience for the consumer. The bathrooms need serious attention and a good clean. I would go back again but these easily fixable items will improve consumer experiences and generate more income.

Best happy hour in Adelaide with 5 beers, spirits and wines. The grassy balcony and grungy furniture add up to make this the ultimate in cosy, low rent socialising. The carpet staircase is the stuff of nightmares for anyone with a sore leg or worse but it’s ok for those that like a kitsch little joint.

Had my birthday party here. Amazing night, food was lovely and friendly staff. Highly recommend for any functions!
had a friend book for there birthday the staff were nice they got drinks out quickly and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Went for a speed dating function mid week. Was far from impressed with the venue and not sure why a company like Adelaide Speed Dating would book a dingy venue like this (cost presumably). 2 stars given because drinks were well priced (7 for mixer) but only 1 bar staff member for 40 plus people so not quick service. Which also I think by covid standards, was too many people for the venue size.... no covid signage, no social distancing, no hand sanitiser etc etc. 1 star (or less) for the rest of the venue. Bathrooms are barely functional. No toilet paper holder, no toilet door on main toilet, no hand towel, cabinet doors fallen off cabinets in ladies bathroom. A big hole in the wall with paper towel shoved inside... a few girls commented on this 'peep hole' Entire place was dark and dull (not atmospheric dark- dingy dark). Similar comments echoed from other speed dating members. Can't comment on food as I didn't eat it. Wouldn't go back. Place needs knocking down and rebuilding or in the least, a complete overhaul. Proceed with caution!
Great for private functions. Staff are very helpful and cooperative. Drinks are very resonably priced and for private function can be subsidised with a large range of drinks on offer. Platters can also be provided. Probably the best value function room in the City. When hiring you also get use of the on site projector, microphone, music system and you can also access the outdoor balcony area.
This place is like your mate's shed, cheap beers, simple decorations... but great service and a chill vibe. Recently started doing authentic Asian lunches which are awesome value. I'll be here as often as time permits!
