I had a great AIB experience and would recommend it to anyone. The online prof's were very responsive when I needed their support. The online technology worked well, and was easy to navigate. Mostly, I enjoyed the course content. I have been able to use some element of the materials in every work meeting since I started the program.

Extremely poor student guidance from lecturer and subject coordinator. Why paying course fees if AIB is expecting student self study and self explanatory rather than active engagement and supervision. Worthless to spend time with it.

The AIB MBA program exceeded my expectations, everything learnt was able to be immediately applied to my organisation. Although finding a study/ work/life balance was a challenge, especially in the last year, the support from AIB facilitators was fantastic, finding a routine that worked was the key for me. Being able to apply what was being learnt made it much easier to understand and therefore do. I have and would recommend the MBA course at AIB for anyone in any business no matter how big or small.

Disappointing across the board... I completed several subjects and withdrew on the basis of the level/quality of learning, and the lack of service and support offered. The MBA course is overpriced given its content and resources, and is very much closer to the level of a lower under-graduate degree, than an MBA. I had hoped the "industry-based" content would be more useful in a commercial context, but it lacked any real depth. Published content was poorly produced and poorly scripted, lecturers were generally inconsistent and reactive. It was actually quite demotivating. Even withdrawing from the MBA was painful - a prolonged, disjointed process that took nearly two months for the Grad Cert parchment to be issued. Given the advancements in digital education, AIB needs to rethink it's MBA offering - it just doesn't align with what they preach in terms of industry credibility and learning value. My recommendation is to explore more highly regarded university-based MBA courses.

Graduating in 2017; so far.. very impressed. They are who they say they are "a practical business school". If you are a traditional learner and benefit from lecture/classroom setting this is not the place for you. I can now see why their rankings/perception fluctuate so much. This is basically the independent study MBA, they provide the framework, access to academic principal, theory, business case studies and industry data for you to formulate what amounts to a mini-thesis on each subject and are marked fair but hard. You better have some new ideas, real world experience and argue your points very well if you want a good grade. You study one subject per month intensely. You have to craft a written assignment for every course and write a comprehensive exam pertaining to the subject. I would recommend for anyone wanting to pursue a MBA.
