We had a few events here recently. Really great place. Their theatre is the best.we had a good experience. Staff was very helpful and approachable. I cannot believe that they had a 60th birthday for this place. Really good place

Amazing heritage listed building, unique acoustics and layout. Good venue and helpful staff.
Iconic home of the Australian Academy of Science. Spartan interior with and acoustically designed main room for presentations. The seats are so comfortable it’s hard to stay awake, even during the most enlightening scientific presentation. Great place for events if your looking for a symposium venue. Definitely worth a drive by to see the architecture, even if you’re not a scientist.
Lovely old cute building! They hold science events here. Lovely lecture space with huge seating. Only consequence is that it doesn't hold that many people due to the large spacious area you get to sit. Events have been catered here and have been enjoyable. Lovely age to the building.
The Shine Dome, hosts the Academy of Science, where renowned scientists give talks about their discoveries. It is worth going to hear them as they do life times of research into making our lives and environment healthier.
I was here for a workshop. It is a great venue. Great acoustic and very comfortable seats. It provided a very enjoyable two days. We stayed across the street, also very convenient. If you are staying around this venue, I highly recommend walking down to the Londsdale St for dinner and drinks. We managed to find a great few venues. The shine done is a great architectural landmark.
