Amazing customer service by Brad. Some staff are not always helpful but most of the time they are great. I’ve stuck by them because I receive great offers and when I was robbed and overdosed with chemo, this company bought me a washing machine and fridge. That’s amazing. So kindness and compassion are a virtue of this company.

Hey guys just a friendly reminder to take pics of your meter, because apparently these guys love to pull random numbers out of you know where! They don't listen to reason and do not follow up with their internal "investigations". I'm 6 months into disputing an electric bill thats 4x the average usage. We were with them the same time last year and came nowhere close to that usage. These guys are incompetent and legitimately scamming their customers in the hopes people will pay them. Please choose another provider and save yourself the lunacy.

Incompetent and lack of integrity and zero communication up this organisation. Do not expect anything else. Re your reply, total rubbish. The person who contacted me is the one who has no integrity and you’re all incompetent. EWON has escalated this matter. It’s far from resolved. You should be a politician.

Worst customer service. Had been an ActewAGL customer for over 10 years no more! We queried our final bill which was nearly 2 Thousand Dollars – this estimate was from their tech meter reading. We contacted ActewAGL and told them that there had to be an issue as property was vacant for more than 6 months and previous bills were around 300 mark. The Contact Centre team (ActewAGL) who we contacted, told us we had to pay it or provide them with a new reading. As their team/techs attended the property and their reading was correct unless we can prove otherwise, we requested a re-read and they said they wouldn’t do a re-read of the meter. We explained over the phone and via emails that the property was sold, and new owners were living there, and we would be trespassing and also raised that even in their paperwork (final bill) it had graphs which showed previous months how very low usage was and bills reflected those graphs. We then raised this with Australian Energy Regular (AER) as we pleaded with the team that there was clearly an error and we no longer lived in that property, AER were very helpful and gave us few options we could take – main point was to resolve the issue with ACTewAGL - if not happy with outcome then re raise it with them (AER). We contacted our real estate agent and asked if possible they could attend the property and help us as new owners lived in the property. Thank god the agent provided us with the reading and we resupplied to the ActewAGL Contact Centre team. Issue now resolved, ACTewAGL amended their bill to us. No sorry, not even an acknowledgement and reassurance that this issue would not happen again to the next person etc. Not good enough, leaving this review so that no one has to be put in this situation or if they did hope that they have an agent as good as ours.

Please try and remember this is just the 'retail' front for the company and don't abuse anyone. These guys and gals have been nothing but helpful to me in my time of need! ️

I rang to setup a direct debit for my elec/gas account.verry helpful gentelman by the name of Ebiyan help me ,and suggested the best way to pay my account.I was very happy with his service.

Charged twice and even thrice on several occasions. Emailed them multiple times yet have never received a response other than the automated one which kindly informs me the useless and lazy sinecures they call employees will get back to me in 10 (!) business days and consequently forced to go through ANZ's transaction dispute service and their fee. Call centre is always unhelpful. Avoid at all costs, plenty of better providers in Canberra.
