I recently moved into an an apartment complex that has lifts installed by Forte Lifts. These are quite possibly the worst lifts I've ever had the displeasure of using. Annoyingly slow (sometimes when we arrive on a floor, the lift will just do nothing for 10 seconds before deciding it's time to finally open the doors) and break down semi often - I was stranded in lthe for several hours. On pressing the emergency contact button built into the lift the person at the other end either repeatedly hung up on me or didn't pick up the phone all together for a good half hour - this is not the response you'd want from your only point of contact with the outside world when you're trapped in a lift (no phone reception in the lift). If you're moving into an apartment complex with lifts from FLS, seriously consider whether you want to deal with the above issues every morning.

Service is getting worse as time goes by. We pay over 700 a month for the full service and get little in return. Not what you would expect for that level of cost. Multiple examples of bad service but a couple of examples are: Our lift broke down on a Friday, standard part which they commented was the most common to fail. Should have been fixed on the first visit but lift the lift inoperable all weekend due to small clause in the contract saying they only worked normal hours if it's not an emergency. Waited until Monday to repair. As the apartments are holiday rentals this cost significantly in compensation not to mention the inconvenience to the owners and tenants. 3rd floor lift button broke in the middle of May. Reported the same day yet they are still yet to resolve it in mid June. A button. In this period we have again paid them over 700 for zero pay back. Very poor. I would recommend taking your contract elsewhere.

As a building manager. i've dealt with alot of lift companies. Forte are better than most. Always get same day service. And most, not all times within 30 mins of calling.

I live at 20 Shamrock St and your lifts are by far the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. Not only do they constantly break down, even when they work they are slow. The programming is clearly faulty and don't even get me started on the annoying lift voice. Any developer, building manager, or body corporate thinking of going with this company I would strongly recommend against it.

Forte lifts have been very unreliable. While living in my apartment I have experienced constant disruptions because elevators are out of service. Elevator doors close quickly and abruptly. Guests are locked out due to the delay in elevators arriving to ground floor, and are blocked if they are not the first to press the floor in the elevator.
