These people are saints sent down from heaven. They will never leave anyone who adheres to the rules and prerequisites in need. I was helped by one of the most professional people I have ever encountered. God bless them, and God bless the woman who helped me. I have not seen professional service anywhere else.

I am so impressed with the standard of service that the staff at this office provides everyone who comes in - from the security at the door to the staff at check in and those providing individual assistance. I have been here at random times during the past month and each time I am in awe with the way each person is treated - regardless. Given that here we sit in all our differences and wide ranging needs, the staff are consistent in their professional and respectful approach. I have seen how each one of us who has come here is greeted politely and truely attended to personally and considerately. The staff's knowledge and expertise of the system and services is outstanding. I saw how each person's query or need or want was treated with the seriousness and urgency it deserved. Despite being at the coal face, confronted by so many people lining up to see them, in the trust that help is at hand, they DO help - even though the whole system is unweildy cumbersome and overwhelmed plus the network sometimes comes to a grinding halt! Suprisingly they even are able to retain their sense of humour. If you come here, know that you are in good hands and that the staff are not only very capable, very experienced and they want to help you.

Thank you Ivy! It's really upsetting seeing such negative reviews.. I don't think people understand how it would really be to work at Centrelink/Medicare in Richmond...Difficult! Constant druggies, abuse hurled at you and just blatant disrespectful people. Ivy was absolutely lovely, helpful and patient. I think we all need to remember, treat people like you want to be treated! Simple

This lady name ivy is the worse with working with people. She is a disgrace to Centrelink and we all know she knows Vietnamese and she pressures people who aren’t fluent to speak English. YOU ARE VIETNAMESE FOR A REASON AND WE EXPECT YOU TO HELP US. She is a disgrace to Centrelink and if you want your customer service to be better I recommend you to get rid of her. Her way of working is unacceptable and it disgusts me and for a fact I know other people who dislikes her due to every reason I said above

Keep away as long as you can. If you have the unfortunate way that you have to go into this establishment hold your breath or the smell of the staff will get you in the middle of your stomach.

very disappointed. arrived to Yara service center to apply for Medicare (Family application), everything was looking professional, we (My wife and I) went to the front desk and told the lady we need to apply for new Medicare card and she professionally asked for proof of Identity and checked our application and all prerequisites and advised to wait until calling for my name. They called my name, and went to another lady who looks new because she is not aware of any procedures and was not even able to read our names. Anyway, she checked the documents again and took our passports away to get them photocopied and back again to tell us Medicare system is broken down since Friday. My wife and I took a day off , I am a contractor based employee so 400 will be deducted from my next pay and we have paid 70 for a babysitter to accompanying our kids at home and my wife lost one annual leave day as well We asked the lady there if there is any way to help us so next time one of us only come to apply for the whole family but she said NO you have to come again together. That was really not professional and disrespectful fir people.
