I have never written a bad review before but unfortunately ‘A perfect stay’ it is NOT. We stayed in a property managed by them in Feb 2021. Upon check in there were significant maintenance issues like toilet not flushing, etc. It was an over priced property at 750 a night with NO air-conditioning, which in February in Byron was a problem. During our stay we observed the many rules like no noise after 9am and keeping the property clean. When we checked out the property was spotless. We were surprised a week or so after check out to received an email to advise us that we had NOT cleaned the BBQ and there were several photos of the inside of a BBQ (could have been any BBQ anywhere as it was only internal BBQ photos) that were not clean. There was also a note on the email to say; “Please be advised we do consider this matter closed based on the issues reported on the condition report to A perfect stay”. We wrote back and told them the BBQ was not that clean when we arrived and it was very clean when we left. They would not listen and charged us 49.50 extra to clean the BBQ. The fee was not the issue, it was the fact they would not listen. We were shocked and have never come across such disregard to clients when holiday letting before. I see that this is not the first incident like this after reading reviews. Will never rent through ‘A perfect stay’ again.

This apartment was amazing and we really enjoyed our time here. A Perfect Stay were very easy to deal with. Beautiful views, a lovely beach and walking tracks to nearby sightseeing locations.

5 Stars for the view and location, i don't think you can get any better. Walk across for a swim and If you like to park the car so you don't have to drive in this busy town, this is the place. We stayed here a whole week and it's never enough. Sitting on the balcony with a cold beer watching the people go by and listening to the music of the pub across from you is fantastic. My hubby and I are super light sleepers, we just jammed our ears with good ear plugs, turned the AC on and closed the doors and we slept really well. The bed is super comfy. Few minor little issues here and there but Management were quick to respond. I will stay here again.

The communication of the staff was excellent and they were very flexible to work with given we needed to move our stay a few times given COVID border closures. Our accommodation was perfect for our needs in a great location. I would not hesitate to book with A Perfect Stay again!

This company is amazing! We were Canadians coming to visit Australia for the first time and wanted to book our stay with a reliable company. We stayed at two properties in Byron Bay and we had a lovely time. One of the properties was in the Hinterlands and I have never woken up to such a beautiful view before! The other property we stayed at was Kia Ora in down town Byron and it was such an amazing location. Everything is provided at the properties that you would need for your stay including lots of extra linens, kitchen amenities, toiletries, and pool toys. The homes were very clean and beautifully decorated. The company was very easy and friendly to deal with. They provided all the details we needed before hand and included some really good recommendations for things to do, places to see and restaurants to eat at. We can't wait to return to Australia and stay at another Perfect Stay Property!

A most imperfect stay, very misleading advertising and photos, like real estate agents pretending (badly) to be a tourism or hospitality company. We booked a property managed by these people on AirBnB, which had very misleading advertising and photos about a tranquil rural setting with views of hinterland and lakes, when actually it backed straight onto a very busy road with cars and trucks travelling on it all day and night, with no privacy or peace and quiet in the living room or on the back deck or either bedroom, with the road not more than 20 meters away, and not a lake in sight! ! The bedroom windows were East facing and had no blinds at all on them at all , meaning the morning light poured straight onto our faces, making a sleep-in impossible. We had booked and paid for 3 nights but after the first sleepless night, at 7am, we asked if we could simply please check out and get a refund for the next two nights. The property manager just ignored us the entire day, never responding to our request or inquiries, except to argue with us, by telling us we should have looked at their photos more closely and examined Google maps beforehand (so, presumably we are supposed to disbelieve their glowing property synopsis on their advert, and skeptically examine Google traffic reports? Maybe we should have also obtained a full building and pest inspection prior to our 3 night stay? After all, buyer beware, right??? ) They obviously think they are running a business in a foreign country that does not have, say, the Australian Consumer Law, as clearly they’ve never heard of it. I would certainly not have these people manage my property for anything tourism related as they clearly don’t know the first thing about tourism or hospitality and will only damage your goodwill with current and prospective guests. Get them to sell your grandmothers only.

The apartment was lovely, spacious and very clean. Had everything we needed. A box of tissues wouldn't have gone astray in each of the bathrooms and one downstairs. Netflix wasn't working so that was disappointing but overall a lovely experience.

Would give zero stars, awful communication when attempting to sort out charge disputes. Took money out from the bond without replying/attempting to solve the issue, I was told ‘case closed’. We incurred a late charge of 200 because the cleaners didn’t come in through to the house and acknowledge us. Funny how this was first thing Monday morning.... This late charge turned into a 120 voucher for the next guests on our behalf on top of the 200... The amount of outrageous charges on the list was scandalous. I have never once has an issue with charges in my entire life when dealing with other companies like this but somehow managed to get charged close to 600. Currently taking advice from the ombudsman and fair trade to rectify this scam. Other than that had a lovely stay in Byron.
