Excellent food. This is a very small Taiwanese restaurant run by a couple . They used limited manpower to prepare nice food with acceptable waiting time. They only open weekdays afternoon . 3.5 hrs every day from 11-2:30. They don’t take card payment . Only cash or bank transfer . Their price is very cheap. But their food quality is very high . It is highly recommended

Visited Amei's kitchen for the first time today, I had the Formosa Fried Chicken lunchbox and my wife had the crispy pork belly lunchbox. Being Taiwanese, we totally give the food 10/10! This is truly authentic Taiwanese flavours which many others fail to grasp! We totally approve and highly recommend this place! Absolutely the best value best eat in Melbourne! Will definitely visit frequently! Just hope the restaurant could use authentic Taiwanese rice or short grain rice like what we get in Taiwan, this is the only downside about A-Mei's food

This is my favourite lunch place. I moved away 6 years ago. I am in the city today but unfortunately they are not open. Really misses her food.
Great food & well priced. Can be hard to get a table but that's a testament to the food. Unlock daily specials! Dry noodles with anything on the menu or pork belly, Monday's Beef Noodle soup. I'm getting hungry just writing all this!
