Love these noods I'm always here when I'm craving Lanzhou style noods. Tasty broth. Well good chewy noodles. Tender beef. Quick service. Clean premises. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious hearty filling noodles in Melbourne University campus area. The spicy beef noodles had ample amount of numbing peppercorns which was great. The beef was also very tender and flavorful. It's neat how you can request how thick or thin you want your noodles to be. A bowl will cost you about 13 so relatively affordable too.

Delicious hearty noodle soup that is becoming the staple in China. Wish for more offal options in the noodle, especially with many Asian customers there, and also for more tea options. Swift service. Cutlery could also be a little less oily.

It’s been a long time since I had Lanzhou beer soup in Melbourne. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant and I’m glad I did. The chefs make the noodles to order (you can see them do this right in front of you) the expertise is amazing and exciting. While the menu is simple the food on offer is delicious. For me the braised beef was the best of the bunch, it felt more hearty on a cold winters night. The chilli oil on the table is delicious! Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Went on a Saturday at 7:30pm and could get a table easily. Will return!

Insta: melbfoodie_mark YT: MelbFoodieMark - Relatively cheap noodle bar near UniMelb. Watching them making noodle was a huge bonus (fresh noodle!) Homemade Braised Beef Noodle Soup was decent but I felt like it needed more spices and meat considering its price. Also tried Cold Dry Noodle which was surprisingly delicious (no proteins)! Worth a try.
