His pricing was very competitive compared to other builders and the final invoice matched what was quoted - with no hidden surprises. He is extremely knowledgeable and offered great advice while also encouraging our ideas. I can't recommend Peter Poulsen Bathroom Renovations enough. Peter was so lovely to work with, he answered every single call and he got things done. Our bathroom is unrecognisable! We bought an old Queenslander and knew the bathroom needed to go and we could not be happier with the end result. It's now our favourite room in the house! The quality is so good too. Peter gave us samples and design ideas and he really knows his stuff. Check out the before and after photos! Plus he was quite affordable compared with other quotes I got. And best of all he stuck to the exact price as our original quote, there were no nasty surprises. He really looked after us and we loved working with him.
If we could give Peter and his team 11 out of 10 we would! We finally decided to update our 35 year old ensuite and Peter and his team exceeded our expectations. We were not quite sure what we could do and how best to use the space that we had, but Peter responded to our enquiry straight away and outlined the possibilities and detailed exactly how he would go about it. We struggled with what tiles we would use. The wall tiles were a relatively easy choice and we knew that we wanted neutral colours. Alyson listened to what we wanted to achieve and her suggestion that we use a bigger floor tile was sensational! We never thought that we could use a tile that big in the space that we had but it has transformed our ensuite into something that makes us stop and look at it every time we walk past the door. We were so pleased with the end result that we did the bathroom as well. Everyone who worked with Peter were exceptional. Alyson with the styling and coordination, the carpenter (Wayne), plasterer (Jamie), plumber (Frankie) and tiler (Brayden) were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Peter to anyone who is thinking of renovating their bathroom. The laundry is next on the list.
We found Peter on google and was happy to see all of these fantastic reviews. We called Peter to get a quote to remodel the bathroom, before seeing the bathroom or knowing what the remodelling/design requirements were, he said over the phone "you’re looking at nothing less than 15 grand". Peter came to the house to quote and we explained what we wanted for the remodelling and as soon as we finished, Peter started to redesign the bathroom to what he wanted it to be which described something very different to what originally was explained. It came down to a shower screen. Peter said over his 40 years of experience he has have never seen or installed a single piece of floor to ceiling shower screen. When I explained that my previous apartment had this feature his reply was to “go with someone else”. way to be an unpleasant way to start the weekend. Peter was rude, unprofessional, and I would not recommend his services.
A few months ago, our 36 year old bathroom was fully overhauled by Peter’s team. What an impressive transformation! From a dark room to ‘let there be light’ with a skylight. For a small bathroom, the old bath was removed and the new shower in its place. Also space was created for storage which was non-existent originally. It’s now so functional, more open, bright and trendy. We love, love, love our beautiful bathroom! The standard of workmanship cannot be faulted by Peter and his team. And also the friendly communication and support from them, and Alyson too. A big thank you! We were extremely satisfied with the price. We would not hesitate to recommend Peter’s company to anyone!
I was looking for a reliable trustworthy company to take my hard earned cash and in return give me a wonderful bathroom for my growing family to enjoy. I obtained a quote from this company and decided to use them. After trying to contact them various times and me being the only one calling it became quite clear that they don't value clientele and can't be bothered even following up calls or emails. Very unprofessional
Peter & his team have recently renovated our bathrooms & kitchen in our house at Carindale. We couldn't be happier with the end result.This being our first ever renovation we didn't want this to be a horror story after the many stories we have heard, we quickly realised we were in safe hands with Peter. There attention to detail with finishes is second to none. Peter was contactable anytime via phone when we had questions. We found Peter to be very upfront with his extensive knowledge of bathroom fixtures & fittings on what works & what lasts the test of time.We had several quotes from other companies that sounded good but on closer look at there quotes we discovered that there fixtures & fittings were inferior to the quality that Peter uses. What we liked was Peter quoted the job & actually did the job. I couldn't recommend Peter Poulsen Bathroom Renovations highly enough. Many Thanks
