I brought my Cub Scouts here for their Mother's Day activity. Emily and Helen at Make & Meld provided a night that was not only fun and engaging for both kids and mothers, the mum's got Mother's Days gifts well beyond the quality of what we would have done otherwise. On top of all that Make & Meld structured the activities so that all the Cubs were awarded an Achievement Badge for attending. Excellent facilities, friendly & knowledgeable staff, and a great variety of activities.
My daughter had her birthday party here on the weekend. What a wonderful experience. The girls were all so engaged, busily chatting and making. The pieces were just the right level of challenge for them. Thanks to Emily and Helen, it was the most stree free, successful party I have every held.
My daughter had a Make and Meld Makers birthday party recently which was fantastic !! Emily and Helen provide very engaging activities for the kids to enjoy and ensured their attention was captured on the crafts through the time of the party. Their imagination and willingness to share their love of art shon through and the kids absolutely loved it. They all left with 3 quality pieces they had made themselves and massive smiles. The facilities and location are great for a kids party with a bit of a difference. Would highly recommend a Make and Meld Makers party.
My children love going to Make & Meld. So far they have made a scooter board, a wooden shelf, a secret book, a money box, a wooden box, a mailbox, a robot/animal, a boat, a car... The finished product always looks amazing - and my girls are so proud of their work. They love that they have made something, and that they've been able to customise it to their design. Helen and Emily are great teachers - they provide clear instructions and guidance while letting the children try themselves. My kids are definitely going to have better DIY skills than I do! I love that they are able to use real tools safely. Everything about Make & Meld is great - it's a locally owned business, with passionate engaged staff, it's structured and creative at the same time, there's no rush, they aim to use sustainable materials, and the children are learning something while having so much fun.
Its a really lovely environment for kids to be creative and use tools they normally wouldnt have access to at home, under the skilful guidance of Emily and Helen who are lovely. My 4 year old son loves attending regularly and its fantastic for his fine motor skills.
