The crew that did the packing were outstanding. Furthermore the crew that did the actual move if possible at all were even more outstanding, their mannerism, sense of humor in a time of great emotional trauma that I was experiencing was something short of a miracle. They were truly angels !. I cannot praise Kent enough for the total excellent experience they gave me. WELL DONE KENT TEAM WELL DONE !

I booked Kent to put my personal belongings a storage container as I am moving to a smaller home. That’s far I have only use them today to pick up my items Consisting of lots of boxes in storage containers and a few larger furniture pieces. I had all of my things already packed and I labeled my own boxes therefore I know that everything was packed together and fragile items wrapped with enough padding. I am happy with the communication leading up until pick up day followed by a confirmation in the morning as to what time they were coming, when the boys arrived I was actually very impressed with how many there were and they worked like a crazy bunch of ants! They knew what they were doing , they were fast, they wrapped my items in blankets and so far I’m very impressed. If the delivery back to my new place goes as well as today did I’ll be happy to continue recommending them. Great job gentlemen! Thank you all, Rose.
We used Kent for a local move with 3 weeks storage. I would not recommend them. First thing: Boxes delivered for move - a couple of boxes were covered with birds droppings. Literary full of sh*&%. Not a very good first impression. Support excuse was that bird On the day team arrived and quite promptly started to work on packing. Perhaps too promptly as even with more delicate furniture items they just shoved these around. Packing went quickly thought and on the day we felt happy with the service. 3 weeks later when items were delivered to new location they again were efficient but not really handling anything gently. Result: one broken chair from the dining set, and a big dent in fabric of the expensive recliner . Insurance is a scam: they only provide repair option. Chair was under excess - so could not do anything with that; as for the recliner repair no one yet bothered to come to check (4 weeks now after move). We have been also waiting now 2 weeks for someone to bother and collect the empty boxes. 3-4 emails; couple of dates given by Kent but no one shows up to collect these boxes. You get a feeling they don't give a damn. Don't use them. Surely there are better companies out there. PS: Kent responded to my review within 30min. Shame they have never shown that much speed in responding to emails. Job was booked under my girlfriend's name - but I made a few enquires before so my contact details are surely with you if you really wanted to do some cross check. Final thought: Even response to that review looks glossy - shame again that not that much interest is put in the actual job delivery as into marketing and online gloss.
For anyone considering using KENT Removals, I would say BEWARE! I had my furniture moved by KENT on Thursday 9th April 2020 at a cost of 8,984.25 (not including insurance) only to have them damage 5 very expensive pieces of my furniture. On top of the damage, they had the audacity to lie and not accept any responsibility for their actions even though I sent through evidence of photos that were taken just prior to the move by the real estate agent that sold my property showing them the furniture in absolutely perfect condition. The furniture that was damaged by Kent, originally arrived brand new to my previous apartment and when moving out of this apartment, I used Coleman Carriers in Leichhardt. All the furniture that was moved by Coleman Carriers arrived to my second apartment in absolutely perfect condition with not even a scratch. Tony Coleman is prepared to sign an affidavit to this as is my real estate agent who sold my property just prior to Kent undertaking the removal of my goods. Unfortunately Coleman Couriers were unavailable for the dates of my last move and I ended up using Kent. The stress that this has caused me, as well as a lack of time has prevented me from taking any legal action. If I can stop just one person from having their furniture destroyed by Kent Removals then that is all I aim to do. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!
Unfortunately, Kent damaged my guitar. And the company I'll not insure it . Make sure you include all your items on your insurance policy form. Or better don't use this company.
Very happy with all aspects from quote to drop off. Both teams that loaded and unloaded were very friendly and efficient, listened to our instructions and nothing was too much trouble.
Sold us on the service with a great sales pitch and then everything fell apart and was ridiculously stressful and disorganised at every stage. The day we were meant to move, they even turned up but then said they couldn't actually do the move because of access even though they had inspected the property beforehand they sent the wrong sized trucks. There were logistical troubles getting the two different state branches to even talk to each other. I will say the actual removal team (who are separate from the office team) were really lovely and efficient and super apologetic about the stuff ups. If you're going interstate and have a complex move, look elsewhere.
Kent has been great during our removal and storage. From Matt who visited our home to consult on the move, Ruth who handled us before the move, and Peter who packed our goods, we couldn't be happier. Thanks
