As a long term volunteer for Sailability I love Canberra Yacht Club. But the restaurant is great, the bar is great, the coffee shop and its a wonderful place to have a great day

Quick food service, great area but the weather can smash you around. Good if there were more protected areas from the wind.
With a 2 or 3 course fixed price menu during Covid times. Lovely location on the lake. Also available is take away fish and chips from downstairs, or from the deck you can get small plate offerings and pizza as well as drinks at a more affordable price. Staff are very attentive, cool air conditioning for summer dining. Many options for families, informal and formal diners... Southern cross members get a small discount off their meals.
Excellent! We attended the restaurant for a family function recently and alerted the waitress to food allergies of two family members. The staff were they very thorough in their questioning to determine the severity of the reaction and the type of allergies. They went out of their way to ensure our meals would be prepared safely. We were very impressed when the chef came to our table personally to ensure there would be no risk of any foods containing the allergens. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it was lovely having the Lake as a backdrop.
