Excellent beach! The lake is connecting to the ocean at this point and converting to a river while low or high tides.

Great location for SUP and kayaking. We were fortunate enough to see a group of stingrays while SUP! There is quite a bit of seating and picnic spaces around the lake, including BBQ's. There are also heaps of bush turkeys around the lake which are really cute and friendly.
Great place for a walk, even in inclement weather. Also a great place to take your dog. You can find surfers here all year around. The water in the lake is salt water mixed with fresh water, and is usually quite a bit warmer than the ocean.
Lake is different every visit. Sometimes full sometimes empty. Shady tree, toilets bbq and coffee!
Las Playas muy agradables lo mas bonito es ver como se une el río con el mar se puede nadar con la familia pq el rio es muy pandito y suave
