Great place to take your 4x4, entry track is a bit rough but you'll make it if you drop you tyre pressure. it's a good swim, waves are great, waters great nice place to see the old bunkers (or what's left of them) All in all a great spot for the weekend if you're a local.

A great day trip. However full of young blokes flogging the guts out of their trucks. Pretty dangerous if you have a young family on the beach. Access and sand driving is easy. Needs some patrols on the beach speeds.

Went for a walk with our young Groodle pup, wanting to find a spot we could let her off-leash without running into other dogs. This part of Bribie has beautiful drift wood & fallen trees that perfectly seperates a few spacious areas for small groups/couples to relax/picnic/swim/play with or without dogs! Only problem with this area, some of the fallen trees have branches that stick back up out of the sand & you stump your feet on them! Big ouchies! Can often lead to open wounds! Watch Out For Those & remember where they are for the tide changes! You can't see them as the tide rises! (Different times of the year *will have to check when it is again* there are even dolphins, baby sharks & whales to watch! Your dogs can sometimes swim out to dolphins. Never had luck getting too close myself though.)

We had a fun with our puppy introducing him to water. Been several times now and continue to go. Preferably during week days weekends can be quite busy however still a good visit.

Very popular beach for 4WD, swimming and fishing.

Not too bad this time round farily hard base with a few powdery sections in the mid Point but nothing 18 psi and a bit of momentum won't fix..seen it alot worse.. Ramp to the beach needs to be hit with a bit of momentum to carry you through to the beach and don't lift off till the hard stuff and plan your trip with the tide where you have room to move up up beach on the hard pack

Good track for beginners. Probably wouldn't recommend it as a beach to stop at for young families due to high traffic volume on weekends and the need to watch your kids don't accidentally stray into the path of an oncoming 4wd. For young families, I'd recommend the beach at the carpark at the entrance to the 4wd track. No 4wds driving through and beautiful water.
