Sadly after 10 yrs of loving the chips here the quality has gradually dropped, old oil creating soggy chips, no moral with staff. Feels like ordering was an inconvenience, then we couldn’t eat the chips. So sad such an awesome shop has let its standards drop. Not sure we will ever go back.

Can’t comprehend the glowing reviews for this place. Chips were mangled looking and average tasting. The grilled barra was so undercooked that we had to cook it at home. It was so close to raw to be inedible. Staff were grumpy and miserable. Highly suggest going elsewhere for fish and chips.

We went a few years ago and the fish, chips and salad then were better than average. However this last trip it seemed that they had forgotten how to double fry the chips and seemed just like the ends of the potato. The salad was a little plain and old fashioned but not bad. But it certainly still seemed popular with plenty of people walking through the door.
Good food !! Ok prices... Best off to call & pre-order, as no one likes waiting 20mins watching others walk up, pay & walk away. Yet fish cocktails are tiny for 1. Most irritable thing is the snappy ness’ Kids do the best they can when working but the woman owner is very hard on them.
