Very happy with my shoe modifications. Ernie and his assistants are a good, dedicated team and the results have left me entirely satisfied with their service.

Finding BFS Pedorthics was a GIFT, I have been able to resume all walking activity again and stay fit and healthy without any pain in my ankles / feet. The best thing is that they can custom my existing shoes to allow me to wear NICE shoes again with heels (small ones) again which has made a huge difference to my life. I would recommend the team at BFS to anyone that has a pain in their foot... they will work out where it is coming from and give you a solution to remedy it very quickly.

After years of painful feet and ankles, I was referred to Ernie at BFS by my Orthopedic specialist. It was the best advice I have ever had in regards to my feet. Ernie modified my shoes, with a rocker sole and supports etc. I would advise anyone with foot problems to see Ernie. Those shoes are just like heaven to me. I can only say, ahhhhhhhhh thanks Ernie.

The most expensive repair in shoe history. I often get my shoes re-done with extra grip on the soles. This costs me 35 and few hours at any shoe repair shop in Westfield. However, I work in the area so took them to BFS. Three days later and 83 (which is nearly 2.5x more expensive than usual.) What really worries me is that no quote was provided up front, and they have lot of elderly people who come to this shop. The whole experience has left me wary about their credibility and astounded at their rates.

Visited Ernie Tye from BFS this afternoon. He is a podorthist. While I’m waiting for NDIS to come through with funds for my new AFO, Ernie fitted me with a temporary afo type device to wear. It will only last a few monthd. My foot slips to the left when I walk...I keep feeling like my ankle is going to guve way. And with my foot drop, it is exhausting lifting my foot without the support of an AFO. (my last AFO can’t be worn since my foot changed shape after my two surgeries a few tears ago) and I’ve been waiting to get fitted with new ones for almost 2 years through Ipswich Hospital podiatry. Excellent service. Spent 2 1/2 hours with him. Good to get support from someone who knows what he’s doing.
