After an audition I crying because people outside said that what I sang was inappropriate but I just wanted to be myself. When I was crying a staff member treated me coldly and she seemed to care more about pleasing the judges by implying that I and some other people didn't care. I think people should know that this happened.

Led by charismatic and dynamic Music Director, Brett Weymark, recently, I find Sydney Philharmonia's latest initiatives exemplary: last year's "Singing at the House" and this year's "Discover" - the former is a free-no-audition-simply-register informal singing at the Opera House for those with no singing experience but love to sing, and the latter initiative, is a workshop to discover the works and get insights into the composer's intentions. It's a life in SINGING with PASSION that Sydney Philharmonia Choirs heartily offer, and clearly, as its welcome invite beckons: "there's a choir here for you."
Amazing choirs with such a diverse range. While their main stomping ground may be the Sydney Opera House, they are also adaptable fit so many other places. From the intimate Chamber Choir to the amassed Symphony Chorus, the SPC is a sight to behold.
The Sydney Philharmonia Choirs constantly enthralls audiences with unique sound. Recently featuring on X-Factor, Australia's Got Talent and many TourismAustraia commercials, this choir also regularly performs with the Sydney Symphony in the Sydney Opera House.
