I was disappointed with my eye exam, the optometrist ( Rowland ) wasn't friendly and it was the quickest examination I've ever had, he didn't ask me about my health problems, I have insulin resistance but he didn't bother to find out and the glasses are the worst Ive had, they keep getting loose. My previous optometrist used to checked for macular, glaucoma, I got the works. I will go back to my previous optometrist. I will never be back here

I have been a customer of Wise Eyes for over 30 years and have never considered going elsewhere. Andrew & Tim have provided excellent service, advice and quick repair to my, or my family's, glasses every time we have approached them. Nothing seems a problem. Today I found Tim had sourced & ordered frames he believed I would like, without any obligation on me to buy them. He knew the model was being deleted so grabbed them in case I wanted them .... and I did! Also I can't remember an occasion when I have left the shop without a laugh. Do yourself a favour and go to Wise Eyes.
I have seen a number of optometrist over the years and have never experienced the high quality of service that I received from the staff at Wise Eyes. I am very happy with the glasses I recieved which were available to pick up the very next day. I will definitely be using Wise Eyes optical in the future.
Original appointment booked online was not confirmed so I wasted time and fuel. Sunglasses and normal wear glasses were ordered but only the normal wear glasses were issued because "you have to be comfortable with the prescription". The last prescription in 2016 has very little difference in it which is why I got used to my new glasses straight away like the old had simply been replaced. I then handed over the only sunglasses I had to be replaced with the new prescription. Wise Eyes didn't call me when the pairs were ready I had to call them. I couldn't use a buy now pay later scheme as I was the very first customer to use it therefore the store didn't know how to use it! I am also used to picking up and paying for 2 pairs of glasses but this is not how the store operates. Although I had my eyes tested on the 18 August paid for both glasses on the 30 August I picked up my normal wear glasses on the same day and my sunglasses on the 7 September! Use car park at your own risk it is hard to get into (depending on the number of cars in this too small car park and very hard even dangerous to get out of and I have had a driver's licence for just over 42 years. I am doing this review because I don't want other people to go through what I did. I would not recommend this business as I went through an unnecessary ordeal which no customer should have to endure first of all they advertised a buy now pay later scheme which was NOT available to me then handing over 1,410 for 2 glasses and only getting one pair 2 breaches of the Retail Act needless to say this business like all businesses has to go by the Retail Act it is not them who is suffering from such an ordeal I am
I have been a customer of Wise Eyes since moving to Wollongong 4 years ago and have had very friendly and efficient service each visit. However, my most exciting visit was last Friday when I had an appointment with Ashley for blepharitis (dry eyes). I have put up with this condition for years and it was gradually becoming worse. After just a one hour consultation and treatment my eyes are feeling so much improved already. I have two more visits booked for further treatment and am expecting even greater improvement to my eyes. Don’t hesitate to contact Ashley for an appointment. She is an angel.
I have been a customer of Wise Eyes for 8 years and the service is always 6 Stars . I know when I walk through the door I will always get a smile and receive the best possible service without any problems. In the 8 years of been a customer of Wise Eyes I have never thought about going to any other optometrist which is the highest recommendation I can give. Highly recommended .
Everyone at Wise Eyes has always had nothing but time and patience with my wife and I when ever we go in, nothing is to much trouble. Can’t recommend them enough.
I arrived at 8:50am with every other store closed. Dahlia was in the process of setting up shop when I walked in inadvertently (assuming they were open). I apologised and went to walk about however Dahlia not only explained the process of getting an eye test, booking me in but also showed me Wise Eyes amazing range of frames, allowing me to pick the style I want when I come in later. This is 5 star service - in Wollongong, it's rare to find this level of customer service. Unfortunately Dahlia only works casually however I hope her other job is on the front desk of the Hilton Hotel. Thank You
