Kartatak is a great karting experience. Situated in the industrial area (aren't all karting places?), it has pretty good access to public transport, with the train station close by. The track is quite good, with good straights and nice sweepers. The course also has a mix of wide and narrow points, offering a good mix of overtaking opportunities. If you're nearby, its a good option.

Not too impressive of a karting arena. The prices are too high (52 for 20 minutes) and they scam you by making you buy a 9 license the first time you visit. The track itself is pretty small, with lap times in the low 20 second range and it lacks technical variability. It's insulting that their website uses a (mirrored) outline of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as a graphic (one of the worlds's finest race tracks), when the actual karting track is so underwhelming and in no way reminiscent of Laguna Seca. The karts, meanwhile, were quite varied in terms of speed, with some making noticeably more power than others. Most disappointingly, there was no timing feature. Every other karting track I've been to gives racers a printout with the race results and gives drivers their lap times, but Kartatak doesn't. If the course were twice as long and if there was an electronic timing feature, then it might be worth the purchase price (but the license fee is still a scam).
Just awful. Broken equipment. Tiny circuit. Horribly unprofessional staff. Manager is ignorant and abusive. No place to bring people you care about.
Really enjoyable! Not the best toilet facilities, but won't stop me coming back :D
