I booked my car into have a coolant leak fixed and was quoted 198.00 to perform a diagnosis . I received a phone call to explain that they needed a further 412.50 to finish the diagnosis. I was subsequently emailed to explain that they needed a further 660 to put my car back together after the diagnosis and that it would be undriveable, but that they could fix all my problems (deformed exhaust gas re circulation cooler gasket) for a mere 3,866.13 on top of the 1,270.50 diagnosis fee.

This VW dealership has the best customer service I have ever had from any VW dealership in VIC/NSW. Samantha who took care us was super friendly and totally professional, as was the young lady on reception and a tall blonde guy (didn't get his name) from sales. It must be the country air as the city dealers are not where near as friendly and approachable.

Poor service. Poor quality of helpfulness. Just want you in and out the door. Each encounter has been late of an afternoon so not sure if it’s ‘hometime’ tuneout of everything hour but very disappointing. Got 3 loan cars over the past year and a half as my own car was playing up and I’ve gotten them on an empty tanks of fuel. Asked about fuel cards as it’s a loan car and was told I should go without money to fill it. They told me that it wasn’t their issue and that I had to pay for fuel to be in it. Pretty sure when you give a loan car out, it’s to be given with a full tank and given back with a full tank....logic. Why do I get empty tanks and told I need to fill it. Each time I get my car back from it being serviced or a warranty job, I get it back with no interior cleaning after saying yes to it. I ask for invoices for warranty jobs and it isn’t until I email and a few weeks later get a reply questioning why I need the invoice for the warranty job. They’ve put reminders on my car reminding me to service it. I am well aware of when I need to service my car. On the other hand I don’t need to service it through Volkswagen themselves when I can go to another European company and get it serviced with better customer service and care. Big brand and all they care about is money in their pockets yet can’t look after valued customers who cherish their vehicles and specifically bought the car for good, quality service and care for a lifetime.
