BON BON REST AREA is just North of Glendambo and just South of Ingomar in South Aust. It offers a long-drop toilet and plenty of room for everyone to park for the night. There are only two rest areas that have toilets between Port Augusta and Coober Pedy and Bon Bon is the second one. It also offers an EMERGENCY PHONE because there is absolutely NO PHONE RECEPTION OF ANY KIND between towns. Port Augusta (obviously) has phone reception then there is none until you reach Pimba & Woomera then none again until you reach Coober Pedy. Also if you're going as far as OODNADATTA, then is only has Optus Reception but we've heard that Telstra Reception will finally arrive in town around the end of July, 2019. Hope you get to experience this fabulously gorgeous and remote area one day soon, too.

Lots of space. There were a fair bit of people there. In the peak season you may want to get here early for a spot. It has a bathroom with two toilets
