Our pool and surrounds were being certified by buildcert who were dealing direct with Blue Haven Pools. So many things were a disaster. I dealt with Tai who was provided with ongoing photos of our pool surrounding area and pump room during construction. The formwork collapsed during the concrete pumping and after concrete completion, the outer pool wall was full of cracks that after 18 months later are still leaking. Three other concrete repair groups including other well respected engineers and Xypex have said that the pool has to be ripped out and rebuilt from scratch! BUILDCERT CERTIFIED THIS! Tai also discussed the relocation of the existing retaining wall, pump room and slab with me and after the provision of photos said to go ahead and he would sort it out at the end! Now to do anything Buildcert wants more fees....An absolute joke! The fence on top of the pump room was signed off and certified yet many months later despite photos being supplied and confirmed by Tai and despite assurances that we could now legally use the swimming pool and surrounding area Buildcert contradicting their approval sent a letter to cease construction (which was already completed when they signed off on the pool fencing and compliance) as it didn't comply. .....Are you kidding the fence on top of the concrete and pool use and occupation has been signed off and area tiled with very expensive sandstone tiles then many months later they say that the concrete underneath isn't certified...... We provided Buildcert with every bit of information that they needed and liased with their representative during the whole process..................Very disappointed

Legalised our 70 year old building works which was done by previous owners of our house. All this was done at half the cost what some big certifiers where charging us.

Just called the company for an update on the pending occupation certificate for my property, spoke with Rochelle. She was most helpful, and patiently explained where the bottleneck was (with builder). She even offered to send me the DA paperwork so I could see what the builder's responsibility is in order to qualify for the occupation certificate. I found this company to be most helpful, and more importantly, friendly. Thank you.
If I could give half a star I would. Took this company 48 hours to tell me they can provide a certain type of certificate but won't take the job on due to work Load. If they informed me from the start their work load was an issue I would of had 48 hours to try else where.
