Our time with Kiana couldn’t have been better. The boat was comfortable and the captain, Brent, was very experienced, wise and funny. You can tell he loves the boat, the sea, the reef, and his job. He would tell us all about the reef, the navigation and lots of sea stories. We felt really safe and in really good hands. The rest of the crew, Maddie and Yanis, were amazing as well. We snorkeled and went diving for three times with Maddie as our instructor; we loved it and loved her. She does a really good job. The chosen spots were amazingly beautiful. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets and would sit at night to have a chat and stare at the stars. We had the best time. The food was cooked by Yanis and was really good and elaborated. He is an amazing chef and he will be an even better marine biologist! The only suggestion would be having a couple of spare plant based milks for breakfast in case of lactose intolerance/vegan. Although there was not a full vegan option, we could enjoy most of the really nice veggie dishes!!! Thanks again for the amazing time! With love, the catalans :)

Travelled on the Kiana with my family. The experience was great and the three members of the crew were always helpful. Be mindful of carrying 40 for buying the photos they'll take if you want them.

Tour simple and Very basic. The team were very friendly, dynamic and friendly. During the route we saw whale from afar. Fortunately the whole group was very nice and we had a good time, but there are other things that are important to consider; The boat is in very bad condition and to spend doa days in it is a bit heavy. It is not too well enabled to relax, you have to sit on the floor or where you can and to eat is very uncomfortable. Food is not a big deal. Finally, the tour is very touristy, the activities are typical of going for a kayak trip and doing a beginners Snorkel. In conclusion, a very basic and simple tour.

Great time on the Waltzing Matilda with a very knowledgeable crew! Accomodating a group of 6, we were all happy cruising the islands. This is not a party boat and exactly what we were hoping, enjoyed spending the night under the stars watching sharks hunting with the fish light. As this boat being older, you can't bring bags with zip (bed bugs protection), but all you need is beach gear, swim suit, towel, water, sun cream, sun glasses and rum.

Nice staff. The travel it is good and beautiful. The snorkel it is not that bad but other companies make feeding in a natural park. What a mess! The bed are little but comfortable. The food it is ok but can be more elaborate and a big portion. It was a nice sailing day, the best withsundays.

Perfect sailing trip to the whitsundays! I highly recommend the Waltzing Matilda. Nothing compares to the atmosphere on a sailing ship :)

Aside from Katie (most hardworking host I have ever seen!), this is not worth the price and the time spent to get here. Spend the extra bucks on a nicer boat. The boat (Summertime) was horribly maintained and dirty. I read it would be old and loved the character but did not expect it be gross. The skipper (Jessie) was overall friendly but would get quite rude and curt which was uncalled for. The food had decent variety and was basic which is fine. But the whole thing just felt filthy. I've stayed in hostels that are much cleaner...if you prefer cleanliness, this is not the place to spend a night.

We really enjoyed our trip to Whitsundays. We chose the 2 days 1 night package which definitely felt like long enough, unless your in Clipper (party boat) then you’ll probably want longer! But they offered snorkelling (didn’t actually see any Turtles sadly) and very chilled vibes with music, etc. We went on the Siska boat which was fairly budget but you pay for what you get - they do great burgers and sausages for lunch and can bring your own booze. Wouldn’t do for more than 1 night personally but we had a great time. And of course Whitehaven Beach was insane!!
