We had our first baby here and I couldn’t speak more highly of the whole experience. I had a c-section and was really nervous but all staff were reassuring and it was a calm and smooth birth. The nursing staff are professional, kind and knowledgeable. The maternity ward is beautiful. We were in the parenting suites and it was like staying in a nice hotel. Food was nice and room is serviced daily. Support from nurses is 24/7 and the education provided is second to none. I’ll definitely be back when we have our next one!

What a nice large money making machine this place is .A relative had surgery here recently and couldnt say enough about how friendly the staff were , but when you ask them to do something they totally ignore you . The rooms are large and the beds comfortable but the staff need to be told to do their job when they are asked to do something by a patient , who is paying a premium to be there .The parking is a problem that needs to be addressed also .

Had a pleasant experience and felt cared for at every stage from pre-admission paperwork, tests and surgery. They kept me informed the whole process. The nurses at the ICU and wards were very nice. The room was clean, very spacious and comfortable.

As soon as I arrived at the Westmead Private Hospital I felt I was in safe hands. You demonstrated your total commitment in caring for me .I was there on the 3rd Dece 2020 for a Prostate Biopsy. I was very nervous and concerned; however soon after I met your amazing staff I felt great.I’d like to thank all the wonderful people, who all played such an important part in my treatment and recovery. The work you do is so amazing. And you excel at your work in every way possible.All the staff at the hospital showed that they were not just doing a job, but they were passionate, committed, served with a smile and went above and beyond.And they were TRUE PROFESSIONALS. (you made me feel safe and happy) were calm and comforting in their efforts.So, thank you. This was the second time I had surgery at this hospital and on both occasions I found it to be an excellent hospital friendly and professional staff. The facilities were clean, rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, nice bathroom, a good sized TV and I couldn’t complain about the meals. The only thing I found disappointing was when I checked in to pay my access, I noticed the Aboriginal flag on the counter but no Australian flag.

I highly recommend Westmead Private. All the staff were so friendly, from the person at the desk who booked me in to day surgery, right through to the nurses and doctors. A special thanks to the anaesthetic-nurse who was so warm, bubbly and reassuring, particularly as I don't like needles! I was really impressed by how organised and seamless the process was. Everything flowed so calmly, efficiently and methodically. Just as soon as I was in, I was practically walking out! It was impressive. Thank you for such a great experience.

I can not express how privileged myself and my wife are of giving birth at Westmead private. Everyone was so helpful and such a delight to be associated with. From initial consultation with Dr Arrage & also with the midwife Deanne, my wife and I really felt the calm and positive nature. The midwives Deanne and Karen made my wife feel like she was at home during her birth. They were such pleasant people and very positive with their motherly approach, really helped my wife during the procedures. Once baby was born, my wife was transferred to the maternity ward, where we met our assigned Midwife Sue, and assistant Rosi. Sue - Sue was exceptional. Always willing to help my wife and I with no issues at all. The knowledge and experience she passed on to us was very helpful and mentally prepared me for fatherhood. Sue is an absolute asset to the hospital. With her cheerful approach and positive vibes during our stay really assured us that we were in good hands and increased our confidence to be parents. All our family members and friends who met Sue couldn't compliment her enough of how much a delightful person she really is. Rosi - Rosi was our assistant nurse. Always carrying a smile, she was also a delightful person to been associated with. She is such a nice and warm hearted lady that always carries a smile no matter what. She always made the time to check up on us and made sure we were not short of anything that we needed, and also kept the room clean for us. I just want to thank everyone at the hospital, in particular the people mentioned above. We will have no issue or hesitation to deliver our next child at Westmead Private. Nick Kassis
