Marinade pork rib taste was average. Replace the grill when requested. Side dishes were average. They weren't particularly delicious.

One of my favourite BBQ places so have been going back regularly for years. Love their marinated port ribs (what they're famous for), side dishes & their bean paste soup (complimentary when ordering bowl of rice) which is so simple but tasty. The owner is very professional & the prices are very reasonable which makes up for the lacking ambience which I don't really expect from an authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. Best to book ahead as the tables can fill quite quickly. One of the best in Sydney, thus is the reason it's popular amongst the Koreans.

A family friend recommended us to try Mapo and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend pairing cold noodles (naengmyeon) with BBQ. Great selection of side dishes too. We'll be back!!!

Since one bad attitude staff has left, we have returned. Scotch Wagyu is a must here! The owner is really really nice

We like their BBQ meats especially the marinated beef ribs, but recently we wanted to try their non-BBQ dishes for a quick lunch. We ordered their bulgogi beef and rice set, cold noodle soup (mul naengmyeon) and fried mang-doo dumplings as side dish. The place also provided complimentary Korean ban-chan side dishes just like other Korean places in Sydney. The ordered dishes were top-notch, except the dumplings which were just average. We especially love the cold noodle soup and the bulgogi. The ban-chan side dishes were some of the best I've tried in Sydney Korean restaurants and need to be mentioned in this review. Prices on the menu are competitive with other Korean places in close-by suburbs. The place is quite big and not too busy at lunch time compared to similar Korean joints in nearby Eastwood suburb, so we love having lunch here in the current social distancing / pandemic times. Services from floor staff were reasonable and we found no problem. You can pay with credit cards with additional 1.5% surcharge.

The BBQ portions are very good for the price, especially the pork belly. The side dishes are also okay, nothing to write home about but nothing bad. Service was also really good, they use the correct hot plate depending on the meat being cooked (grill for beef, steel plate for pork and chicken) which is a simple thing many places don't do.
