Wonderful to see regrowth since bad fire several years ago. Terrific new visitor centre. Good walks for the fit! Interesting geology, good representation outside. Peaceful place. Good car parking. Covid safe measures in place. Toilets clean (ladies)

The drive into the park was beautiful. When we got here the campgrounds were fully booked out. The staff here were very helpful in getting us another campground to stay at. The staff were amazing in helping us decide what hikes to do and very informative in what each trail contained. Very nice friendly staff.
Helpful staff and great gift shop with clean toilets. We did the Grand High tops and Breadknife walk (Grade 4). Our group had a mix of fitness levels and those on the lower end struggled a bit with the walk. There are lots of steep walkways on the way up and steep stairs, so take the Grade levels and timings into consideration when you are choosing your walk. The views are pretty spectacular.
Very good information centre compared to when there was only a demountable. Worth going to!
Great informative place to learn about the park. New and modern facilities and information. Useful to get maps and info about the trails. I recommend split rock at around sunset for some awesome views.
The new visitor centre is a great place to visit as a starting point to explore the region. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I love the native bird s nests on display and the history of how the area was formed over 20 million years ago.
A modern and well presented visitor centre. Has some excellent information about the volcanic origins of the mountains and the erosion processes since becoming extinct. The 3D map showing the walking trails was very interesting and informative.
The Warrumbungle National Park is one of the best I’ve visited in NSW. The walks are amazing, with good distance options, amazing views, an amazing loop option and great track (single trail for a good chunk). We did the grand high tops, bread knife and Mt Bluff as an overnight loop hike, starting at Pincham car park. The visitor centre is really well done and interesting, and signage throughout the park is excellent. Recommend booking ahead for the observatory tours as we didn’t and they were booked out.
