Excellent place to visit to purchase antiques or just about anything your mother or grandmother had in their home. Oddities are abundant as well as the normal. Friendly staff available to assist with any queries or items you wish to purchase. 2 floors of items to look at so allow longer than 5min then you can wander around the gardens. Well worth a visit to the Fletcher Jones Market ideal rainy day activities

The FJ Market has let me down terribly. I saw a canteen of cutlery which I really liked. I called the following day to pay and secure the item. They said they couldn’t do it due to a new Eftpos machine with which they were unfamiliar. I contacted them twice more in an effort to pay and secure the item. Both times I was told the item was safe and they were happy to wait for payment when collected. They had a firm date as to when that would be. Five days after the last call, the same person rang me advising they weren’t content to hold the item any longer and that another offer had been received above my negotiated price. And unless I matched that price, they could no longer hold the item. I felt bullied and was more than extremely disappointed. This is disgraceful treatment and abuse of a business arrangement, especially when I had attempted on three occasions to pay and secure the goods. This is the first time I have submitted a review.

A fun place to visit when the weather isn't as nice. Lots of good old stuff, and who knows you might find a bargain. We'll visit again on our return. ;).

Depends on what floats your boat ! Quite literally thousands of antiques, brick a brac and stuff. You could spend all day just browsing. If you are looking for that special gift this could be the place but be prepared to spend a lot of time looking.
