Its an older style Motel but is well maintained. It’s pet friendly and has a fully fenced area out the front that the fur babies can run around in safely. It’s very reasonably priced. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning with our boat

Exceptional value, space and location. This motel is pet friendly, with a lovely outdoor area for puppies to roam free securely. We had room 11 and it was huge (a double bed and two singles), a great kitchen area (with a large fridge), lots of bench space, and a recently refurbed bathroom. The owners, Tina and Debbie, were both lovely and we will absolutely stay here again on future visits.

Perfect location. Accommodation is very comfortable plus a well equipped kitchenette. We have a dog & we are just across the road from the beach which has a long shady walking path parallel to it. Would return to this accommodation.
We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at Shelly Beach Motel and were glad we did. The service provided by the owners was professional yet complemented with a fun and friendly approach which added a family feel. The establishment, although dated and relatively simplistic in layout, offers covered parking and unbeatable access to the beach. Situated on the Esplanade, you literally cross the road to hit the sand. Admittedly, the Esplanade traffic is constant and, therefore, so is the noise. For us, a small price to pay compared to being elsewhere and having to constantly drive to the beach. The prices were also very fair and allowed us to stay longer than originally planned. As impressive was the actual room which was very clean and tidy, included a balcony for ocean watching coffee breaks, and had all the expected mod cons - microwave, TV, hot shower, air con and free WiFi. If budget accommodation is on your agenda, give Shelly Beach Motel some serious consideration. The staff, room and location are all big positives.

Giving 5 stars for the friendly service from managers. Felt welcome with our dog. Just across the road from the beach. Had a really relaxing time.
