Not my usual CPAP shop, but was driving past so went in for convenience. Parking is difficult but I managed to find a street park 60-70m away. Requested a new piece of equipment but was quoted a price almost double the price than most competitors. When I asked if that was their best price, I was told “that is our price”. Upon looking at their website, they have a price match guarantee. Not too upfront about that when you get in there though. A 20 second google search is all it takes to find a much better price! Statistically, people with sleep apnoea have a higher chance of being elderly, which infuriates me as they’re probably charging our elderly population the full retail price when they know damn well that they’re the only ones doing so.

Upon arrival there was a lady outside at door that told us she has been waiting half hour behind another couple. Can only have 3 in the shop. Now its very cold outside. I would like to stay in warm car and wait but don't want to loose our place. Why didn't you come outside and tell people sorry for the wait, if you would like to stay in your cars we can come get you when we can. Its called customer service. We are talking health here not some takeaway.
My wife and I visited today and all we can say is WOW!! We rang up looking for some advise as the current place were renting a machine through has not been helpful at all. We spoke with Molly, who asked us to visit today so she could assist. When we told her we won't be their before 12, she insisted we come in and she would wait for us. Once we got their, we were so happy and impressed with her help, knowledge and lovely manner. We had no idea how to use the machine and she ran us through it patiently and helped us fit the mask (which wasnt done right in the first place). The machine also wasnt set as it should have been, which she changed. She was very patient and didn't let us leave until we were completely comfortable with everything :). she also gave us her mobile number which we used to ask one question we forgot this afternoon and she was still very nice and patient on the phone. she said we could call her anytime which is awesome! we felt really bad as we stayed until about 1, but she never made it a problem. we will defintely be back to buy a machine from Molly when we can and bring her some chocolates :)
Just the best plain good old fashion service of the highest standard . My CPAP machine decided to " have a sleep " itself on a Friday night and left me high & dry until I could get another one from the hospital as that is where mine is on a loan from and who knew when I could get back in there . They let me hire one on a Saturday morning which was a bonus for being open then to start from and also for just 2 weeks instead of the standard 1 month . I got a replacement machine just 3 days later from the hospital anyway so when I took the machine back expecting and happy to accept the 2 week hire charge they didn't charge me for the hire at all and then gave me the money back as a store credit. I was able to buy a brand new name brand head band for my mask with it then and there for which I needed anyway and not have to go up the road to what used to be my usual store at Greenslopes where I have purchased the exact same item another time before but pay approximately 30% more at that store. I forget the last time I actually had good genuine service like this before . Got a new customer with me and any other friend I know who has got a CPAP machine , Thankyou very much CPAP MT Gravatt ,its hard enough being on a pension without other stores trying to gouge you for something that really does become an essential health item . 5 stars for you guys : )

The staff member was helpful but as Someone getting one of these for the first time trying on and setting up the equipment while people are waiting and can see you is a bit uncomfortable.
