Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Meals are affordable. Ample parking! We often go to Club southside for their weekly trivia. James (trivia host) goes above and beyond, always so friendly and helpful. Trivia is hard to get into because you have to call at 9am on the day! its difficult for us to call because we both work and, recently have been missing out, it would be better if we could book online. all in all we love coming to trivia when we get spots.

***FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE*** Friendly staff Very spacious and ambiance is nice Food is good. Kids meal is definitely worth the price. Would be good if they have a menu for all drinks. They just have a menu for wine. Ordered lamb rump char grilled, sand crab linguine snd chicken parmigiana with chips and salad. Spent A63.80. Drinks were apple juice, kirks soda, martini and bourbon. Spent A26.60. Food and drinks are ordered separately
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere for dining. Meals are affordable. Better than some premium restaurants we've been. Quality of the bistro food is also great. Parking is great, never an issue. Would recommend.

Wow, very beautiful and modern interior. Did not realise this place even existed. Very busy and great atmosphere. Lots of food options available and even saw a magician! Would definitely do most events here from now on and glad we could dine here!
Nice good value and food is tasty, They don't make cocktails - when I asked out if curiosity, they said it was a house rule - thought that was strange/interesting -maybe over 50's can't be trusted to drink responsibly, or can't make their own mind up on what they would like to drink ?!
Terrible experience. Paid 100 for seafood platter for two that was seriously overpriced. Was a few prawns, a few oysters, a small fish, the calamari was nice but that was all. We were a table of six. Three of the party were served their mains within 20 minutes then it was over an hour before the rest of the table was given their mains. One of these mains was the house roast so didn’t even need to be cooked just plated up. If the service and food wasn’t bad enough they also only had one high chair available and it was broken to the point of being dangerous if used. I asked if they had any other high chairs only to be told they were all being used. My husband and I walked around the entire place twice and couldn’t see another high chair. I went back and told service we couldn’t see any other high chairs and suggested they had them stored away. I explained it couldn’t be used as it was broken and she asked why, I explained it had no straps and no centre piece to hold the child in. She just looked at me and shrugged, then walked away from me. I complained about the over an hour wait and again I was shrugged off. Truely terrible service, food and prices.
I have been to the Club Southside quite a few times lately & haven't been disappointed yet. The food is generous & really good & I love the atmosphere & the staff are very friendly and are willing to check anything for you. I have to eat gluten free & they went & rechecked that the meal was for me - with a smile. Very good service & different areas to sit & have coffee or dine in.
