I don't get all these bad reviews: I didn't experience any impolite attitudes here! It's a cute casual spot, not like a fancy dinner place. The street food snacks are great and SUPER cheap. Especially during the 2:30-5:30pm happy hour: buy one get one free drinks! I bought two massive specialty teas and a large meat-filled pancake for just 12. Very satisfied.
Non genuine customer service. Does not even say thank you afer paying or when leaving the restaurant. Food may not be bad. But we'll never forget how people make us feel.
Very disappointed with the food we got. Ordered pork with black peppercorn sauce - the pork slice was a bit cold and overly fried. It was so hard and difficult to chew. The black peppercorn sauce was too salty. Side dish corn kernels were stale and coated with way too much butter, which were not tasty at all. We went to Tea Plus in Broadway because the food we had from its Burwood branch was decent. If you want a cheap and cheerful Taiwanese meal in Broadway, I would recommend to eat in Sunflower next door instead - service and food quality heaps better.
I live at Unilodge and would come to eat their rice combo meals occasionally during lunch. The layout is simple and cosy, and staffs are friendsly :)

3 stars for the food and aura 0 star for servicing Have came down to this resto several times and servicing was quite good. However, One of new waitresses was extremely impolite at counter when she’s servicing customers and showing no respects as a waitress. I was made to feel uncomfortable and even regretful when handing over my money to that obnoxious waitress. If you expect to be served properly for the money paid, there are a lot of alternative restos on the street.
