I would like to thank SSE and the amazing people behind its programs for all the unique opportunities they have made possible for me and many other students from all across NSW. I undertook the Navigator and the Ideation in the year 2018. They both played a crucial role in the development of my entrepreneurial perspective. Experiencing what SSE had to offer, also helped me better understand the forces controlling/affecting my creativity and innovative thinking. Furthermore, I have come to realise that their units are deliberately structured in a way that students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and face uncertainty, which will ultimately derive creativity and innovation. To sum up, SSE is the perfect place to be, learn and experiment.

This place can only be described as an expensive tax payer funded joke. Run by a bunch of people that have never started a business, aren't entrepreneurs nor have ever been entrepreneurs, have done nothing but work in a salary job for someone else all their lives, and they are the supposed experts in trying to teach entrepreneurship. Hahaha. The saying goes if you can't do, you teach but these people haven't even done. It's like getting a tradie that paints houses to teach renaissance art at a new cutting edge art school. They've never done anything entrepreneurial either in failure or success. At least in failure there are learnings. We can ask them about what they could have done differently but no one here understands the inherent risks of going out on your own and having no paycheck to look forward to each fortnight, the conceiving of design, products or services, the complications with running multiple aspects of a business, pitching for investor funds or setting up a business for sale. All this place teaches is an unrecognised millennial MBA. Another paint by numbers cookie cutter course that will make more regularly boring future middle management. I was really hoping this place would be different. Edgy that pushed boundaries and gave people experience and skills to step out on your own to be entrepreneurs that developed companies that changed the world. Instead it's just another AGSM but for kids.
