I was so impressed at the remarkable range and diversity of art/design/craft products at Kadmium. This is probably the best store of its kind in Sydney; whether you need punched square-aperture aluminium mesh or 3mm chisel-tip precision paintbrushes, you can be confident Kadmium will stock it. I also appreciated the friendly and professional customer service I received from Rose. It's great when the staff really know their products and can not only provide you with meaningful advice, but are happy to invest their time into talking with customers and offering valuable information. I highly recommend this establishment.

I had an excellent time at Kadmium, purchased some reasonably priced items and was expertly and efficiently assisted by a red headed gentleman who was beyond generous with his time and helped me decide which materials best suited my project. I wonder if the disgruntled reviewers here have taken a bad attitude instore and been awful to staff? Thanks Kadmium: heaps of good quality items, conveniently located, fairly priced, I will be back.
Has alot of option for building architectural models
My favorite art store in Sydney due to the superb customer service. The gentleman who works on the weekends is super helpful and accommodating. He helped me pick out my first sketch book and graphite pencils. He even showed me a few drawing tricks! I’ll be back

I have been a loyal customer of the Broadway and Newtown store for many years. I usually buy around 50 to 100 worth of art stuff most months. Today I walked into the store and 5 minutes later the store owner walks up to me and said "did you steal something and put it in your jacket?". I was outraged. I then took off my jacket and handed it to him saying "search it if you like". He then said "did you put it in your backpack? I handed him my backpack and said "search it if you like". He then threatened to call the police then told me to leave and never come back. Unbelievable. I am utterly offended. This review will stay here until the owner apologises.

Good location. Great range but a bit on the pricey side. Most staff seem very friendly but others less so. You'd be rolling the dice on what service you get. I think more local art supply store competition would be good for the health of this place.
