We've had investment properties for 15 years and have tried many different property managers in that time, some have been bad, some good, but Excellent Property Management is by far the most professional and efficient company were have worked with. We live outside of Australia so our Property Manager plays an even more important role when we can't see the property for ourselves. Excellent Property Management have embraced technology and use a super simple software system that keeps everyone up to date with what is happening with the property, payments and leases. They are always proactive when it comes to legislation changes and lease renewals. We can't recommend their services more highly. It's fantastic to deal with such a professional team.
I cannot thank Excellence Property Management enough! My property was vacant for 3 months with another company, I moved to Excellence after the other company had made some huge mistakes - and the team at Excellence had rented my place out to an amazing tenant within a week at a much higher weekly rent! The team are so lovely, answered every call and email quickly and all around it was an amazing experience.
Very dissapointed with my interactions with this company, and i must say the name is a joke, because they are as far as possible from excellence. Having to deal with several different people just to get one answer is not ideal. They like to spruke on the internet how amazing they are and how great a job they will do, but from my experience its just a business full of junior inexperienced people. My advice to anyone stay clear.
Whereas I am certain that if I were a property owner, this team would have my back. As tenants, this was far from a reality. No one manager is assigned to individual properties the result of which was that if we called in to follow up on a matter (e.g. issues with pool service providers, maintenance requests, lease renewal negotiations...etc) we would be met with “_____ was talking to you about that so I am not sure how to help.” Maintenance issues were ongoing and rectification took far too long or were ignored all together. They also decided to tell us that our lease would not be renewed with the conditions discussed one day prior to closing for Christmas leaving us less than 2 weeks to find an alternative. As expected, vacating was a nightmare. We ended up spending half our bond cleaning up and still had to get the RTA involved in order to receive the full refund we deserved. We assume they wanted to use some of our bond to justify the 70/week increase in rent advertised in their new property ad. The technician they employed to service the pool prior to vacating also added an obscene amount of salt, to account for the time the property will likely be vacant but on our dime. I’ve dealt with many less than ideal realtors in Townsville who are generally apathetic towards tenants needs. Excellence was by far the least compassionate and most disorganized and difficult to dealt with.
A new client so early days but so far have found Elley and the team very professional and responsive to getting things done. Proactively pick up the phone to let you know what's going on. I liked their automated weekly email feature giving you a status on your property when it's being advertised for lease. I hope they keep up the great work and as long as they do I'll be a client of theirs.
BIG SHOUT OUT to the Team at Excellence Property Management for renting our property in Townsville. This is the second time we are renting through them and the service is the next level. I highly recommend their professional and excellent services.
Great team that always has tenants landlords in mind. They take the stress out of owning an investment property. Highly recommend!
