A special place. It feels like you have been invited into the family home and you are a guest about to enjoy a meal filled with recipes passed from generation to generation. Try the dumplings (both fried and steamed), the eggplant, the chicken with its insanely good dipping sauce and the date dessert with chunky nut shard ice cream. Wow. It’s as good as all the chefs I have spoken have said it will be. (One watch out - they are not a fan of split bills)

One of the very best restaurants in Adelaide. In terms of the quality and taste of their dishes. The food is always absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I love this restaurant with the traditional Afghani fare. Simple setting where all the emphasis is in the most delicious food. I have been many times as it never disappoints. The 2 sittings structure is testament to the popularity of this place so if that makes you feel you can’t linger, well you can’t, but that’s a known condition when you book. Two hours was plenty of time for me and my friends lasts night and we enjoyed an fantastic meal. Thank you Parwana, keep doing what you do! Yum!

Great restaurant, food is fresh and delicious. BYO only, no alcohol sold onsite, cheap corkage which is then donated to charity. Recommended.

I love this restaurant so much that i bought their beautiful recipe book. I would search for parwana recipes online from time to time after seeing them featured on food safari, in the hopes there was more out there. So when the book came out i was so excited and was not disappointed. Recently had a banquet meal with 11 family members and we were inundated with amazing dishes ( two of each) and left with plenty of left overs. Can't recommend enough. The food and the atmosphere is like a big warm hug
