A missed opportunity. Great location. Looks nice from a distance. But grubby close-up. the steps close to the water are hyper-slippery because of weeds. The pool floor can be full of debris, and the nearby amenities are bare at best. Also the sign about dangerous sea creatures doesn't make it feel saver. And after rain ( run off from the fore shore (with dog poo and bird dropping on it)): I wouldn't swim here . The council should invest in better shielding from the lake , dredging the pool floor more often. But then Lake Macquarie is more about boating and fishing anyway. and this pool proofs that.
