The best salt and pepper calamari I've ever had. The oysters were large and delicious too.

Just had Flake, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Fishcakes, Potato Scallops, fish cocktails, prawn cutlets and chips. Couldn't eat more than 1 bite of each item. Extremely disappointing. Everything tasted like it was on its way out rather than fresh and was overcooked to the point it was about to burn. Flake was dry and the batter was extremely oily and flat with no crunch. Salt and Pepper Calamari doesn't have any salt or pepper in the coating rather it is just sprinkled at the end and i couldn't taste any pepper, it also tasted rather odd almost making me suspicious it may have been expired and the crumb was tasting burned. Potato Scallops were half decent but too thin with too heavy of an oily batter. Chips were extremely overcooked and 0 seasoning. The Fish Cocktails also followed suit of dry with a heavy oily batter. Prawn Cocktails were also extremely brown verging black. The Fish Cake was also dark brown and disappointing. Overall i would say that was one of my worst experiences in eating. My feedback on improving would be to review food storage so that the product tastes fresher, review the batter and frying times to allow for a better more golden and crisp product and change brand on the calamari. I hope this is an unfortunate one off occurrence given the quality of the nearby shops products.

Got some battered fish for my kids and wt full of bones I called and excuse was the bones pop out themselves seriously in battered cooked fish c'mon honestly I know you guys replaced them and I'm not saying it's bad food because it's fresh every time I'm just letting people know because when others buy cooked fish for their kids some just take it home wack it on a plate and hope their kids enjoy it it could have been a trip to emergency for my babies tonight you need to make people aware of this

I came down from Highfields today at 5 o'clock and YOU WERE CLOSED. What a waste of time, you need to increase your open time on Sundays to accommodate people that wanna come in later on a Sunday.

Stopped into "Stoneys - The Range" today at lunch on my way through Toowoomba heading back to Brisbane. Ordered the 11.50 lunch special of flathead and chips. This also came with a side of coleslaw which was a nice refreshing side. The food was cooked extremely well and it was fresh and tasty. More than impressed with value for money and the service was plesant and friendly (much better than a lot of places i have eaten at in Brisbane/coast). Will definately be stopping in for lunch again next time I am passing through.

Great produce! Everything looked so fresh. A bit of confusion only letting 3 people in at a time but all good.

I ordered enough fish and chips for a family, a seafood basket and calamari. Was not anywhere near as good as everyone had told me. Calamari was chewy. Too oily. Overpriced for what we got. Not ready to try it again.
