My friends and I go here all the time, best food in the area by far. All meals are delicious, generous portions, unpretentious and reasonably priced. Staff are lovely and attentive. Great drinks menu. Only turn off is the atmosphere, the stark lighting gives it a clinical feeling. could do with some dimmer mood lighting and some light Italian background music.

What can I say? Carlo is an incredible chef and everyone at 39 makes you feel welcome. Great choice of dishes, beautifully prepared and presented. The pizza is next level! Warm and cosy environment and amazing quality of food. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice Italian restaurant in the Toorak area.
The Customer service is brilliant; everyone is helpful, very friendly, timely and professional. The quality of the food is amazing and authentic; it was like I was back in Turin. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My local pizza go-to that I visit weekly before COVID. Amazing pizzas (and pastas). Great customer service. It can get really busy during peak times so maybe don't go when completely famished.
Pizza was decent sized, although crust was quite thin. Mains were tasty, and decent selection of drinks. Unable to split bills for larger groups.
Visited this place many occasions, and for good reason. Hands down top tier pizza in town! But it's not just the pizzas that got me coming back time and time again. The pasta is magnificent, especially the gnocchi, soft and fluffy! The mini fried lasagna pieces are also to die for
