i took a motorcycle headlight rim (chromed) in and asked to get it copper plated, the guy said about 5 days and i will txt when ready , 1 wk. went by no txt . i called in friday he said be done monday. i called in folllowing friday and his reply come back monday i haven't polished it. i said i will polish it.he went out the back and polished the rim ,5 min. came out and said that will be 70 cash , because he hadn't started his eftpos machine ??? time was 11.00am i replied i dont have cash and he said go to the servo up the road . Customer service poor and quality of plating ordinary. Definitely wont be going back .

Take ages to complete work,and very expensive not to mention rude,if you have parts waiting to be done,collect them and run for the hills
I took some headlight buckets to this guy. Yes they were pitted however I said the top and bottoms were not critical but the sides which will be seen should be good. When I went to pick them up the sides were ridiculously wavy. They were not wavy when I took them in. His excuse was I allowed so much time on this job and my worker was spending to much time on them. Thats the best I could get them. So thank you for ruining my parts. I will say he did some smaller dash pieces and they were done to an acceptable standard however they were pretty good to start with. There are no good Chrome platers in Brisbane - try elsewhere is my suggestion.
Brisbane Chromeplating is a family run business that's been established for many years. I build motorcycles for a living and often need chrome work done. I found Robbie to be genuine and great at his job. They work hard and are very busy. Keeping that in mind any work I take it I can expect a wait of 2 to 3 weeks but the work always comes out perfectly. I recommend anyone who wants that 'wet look' chrome and at a reasonable price.
Very poor service and product. Quoted one price, then would not release the items at a higher price 2x the quoted price. Items we had striped still had chrome and when approached stated, 'not my problem '. Not recommended!
