Best seats are in Cinema 1. They have vegan choctops. Get the choc mint one. The seats are very comfy and well spaced with enough distance between the front row and the screen. If the movie you want to see is screening here it should be your first choice.

Gorgeous, beautifully kept theatre in Thornbury. Headed there with Thornbury locals Sam and Paul for some wedding portraits, and it's easy to see why they kept everything local for their celebration with gems like this just a stones throw away. Gorgeous deco exterior, iconic theatre image in the outer area, it's such a treat to see places like this going strong. Legendary.

Prepare for the immersive experience of the theatre when a 6 metre screen appears out of sweeping curtains, singing with a state of the art Krix 5.1 sound system, that will leave you (like it did us) sinking in to one of the 57 comfy seats. Cult-classics, and other films both locally & internationally made that otherwise might not have been seen on Australian screens. Brilliant, the only negative is rude tourists absconding the area itself. Great service and atmosphere
