I've had a fair bit done with SSV over the years and they've always been great to deal with. They treat you with respect whether you're spending a couple of hundred bucks or a couple of thousand. Just had a speaker install done and there was a couple of issues with a buzzing that popped up under certain frequencies and they went above and beyond to solve the problem even though it was a pain to fix. Didn't cost a penny more, which I reckon proves they have pride in what they do. Nick at the counter is a pleasure to deal with and will genuinely try to help you get the result you want. Highly recommend

I would like to start by saying that i would never ever get my car audio or visual fitted & serviced anywhere else than SSV,i have had dealings with them way back when they were named Gary''s Car Radio on high st preston.Rod you are a champion mate & you know your stuff about every aspect of car audio.I just had a full system update in my 07 Ford Ranger,i am as happy as a pig in S@#T.thanks also to mick for great customer service as well as everybody else that works for the great man Rod at SSV Thomastown. Head on down to SSV & get yourself a bargain & be set up with the best system for you by the expert Rod..........Thanks heaps again.....Steve.il be waiting for my XL Jacket Rod,Cheers

Just got my new stereo upgraded, along with reversing camera and colour coded rear sensors and I must say it looks and sounds better than factory! Great service ! Great people ! Great prices! Thank you again SSV Thomstown ! ! I'll be back soon for more upgrades to my Ranger !

Rude staff. Subwoofer installed incorrectly. The sub was overly loud. The troubleshooting revealed that the factory amp had two sub cables, only one of them was connected to sub. Also, they couldn’t troubleshoot and resolve the crackling sound from one of the speaker. They gave me wrong advice to purchase and the lc7i that would resolve the issue which it didn’t. In the end they just blamed the speaker issue was due to bad installation by someone else and didn’t take the responsibility of giving me wrong advice of purchasing the equipment that was not required. I figured it out later myself that the amplifier was faulty and had issue in one of the channels and issue was resolved after replacement. That just needed some basic troubleshooting skills which these guys lacked. This business is not recommended at all.

Very nice & friendly staff, the only place that sell Windscreen Suction Cups without the chewwie gum on the Suction, there a registered Alpine dealer to, so i can upgrade my GPS as well.
